ATTORNEY PROFILE
R. BLANCH is our firm's lead criminal lawyer and founder of BLF. He heads up a 7 attorney criminal defense team and usually assigns 3-5 lawyers an investigator and paralegal on the firm's larger criminal cases at the state and federal level. He has won awards for his public speaking on criminal law issues and has appeared in the news as a criminal defense commentator to discuss the Duke rape case and the Nancy Holloway murder investigation. His cases have been reported in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The New York Post. He began law career in a large law firm and has endeavored to carry the benefits of large law firm thinking and mass litigation techniques to the botique criminal practice. Attorney Blanch recieved his education at two top ranked universities, (SMU and UCLA) where he was awarded the honors of dean's list and law review admission. During law school he devoted much of his time to interning with the District Attorney's Office.
